2nd week of my first detector......It was only a fork at a supposed Conferate camp site.........but I will go back for more.

    Good luck on the hunt and post pictures if and when you can. Please. Cause we just got another 6 inches of snow and I need to be fed something more to get me through this seemingly unending Winter. Oh wait, it's Spring now isn't it?

    Congrats on your Civil War find.
    I'm actually trying to find prime Civil War era property to hunt?
    It seems the hardest part to this here detecting stuff is procurring new areas to detect. Happy Hunting.
