My son found another bullet from the 1863 camp.

I found this on an old abandoned farm site. Anyone have a clue to what it is.

    It's just the reverse of what you see. It seems to be some sort of lid for something. It's about 3 inch dia.

    Interesting item. Looks 1930s or early 1940s. What's the other side like? I mean, is it like a medal, or more like a lid off something? Thin or thick?

    Definitely a transportation theme goin' on there. Think travel... think... uh, I dunno. Pill box for travelers? Ornament off some piece of luggage? Game piece of some sort?

    You've got me, but I think it's nifty, whatever it is.

    I was thinking maybe a snuff tin, but other than that, I don't have any suggestions.

    The travel piece is part of a St. ??? item - whichever one is the guy that protects you while traveling...
    Maybe it was the top of a pill case?
