For any new members: How to link, attach images, etc.

I'm just doing this because I'm bored but anyways...

How to link:

1. Copy the link from your browser
2. Once in message post mode, click on that "http" dialog button
3. A banner may appear reading "This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows..."
4. Right click the banner and select "Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows"
5. Click on the "http" button again
6. You should see a script prompt on the top left of your screen. Delete the "http" (unless you want to type in the link yourself) and paste the link that you copied in step 1.
7. You will then be prompted to give a title to the link. Enter in the word(s) and click OK.

How to attach an image (from a website)

1. For the online image, right click on the image
2. Select properties
3. Copy the URL
4. Once in message post mode, select that picture button that is between the underline and http button.
5. You will see a banner that says "This website is using a scripted window to ask you for information. If you trust this website, click here to allow scripted windows..."
6. Right click on the banner and select "Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows"
7. Click on the picture button again
8. Delete the "http" part and paste the URL you copied in step 1 and you're done

If there's anything else I should add, let me know or add it yourself through a post.

How do I attach an image from my computer, or do I have to post it on a website first?

    Thanks!

The message board will only hold pix that are 50mb in size, if your pix are larger then you need an outside source like photobucket.com

You might want to change the "50mb" to 50Kb. image

Yes on the 15th of the month, it is icon upload day, and there is a button on your profile page to upload one, but it must be no larger than 100 X 100 pixels in size.
imageQuid pro quo. Yes or no?

Thanks for the info, the odds of checking my profile on the 15th of any given month would have been zero.
