Here's some scans of the 1970 Photostamp Bench we PM'd about. It is one I submitted to PSA as a 1969, but they told me it was a 1970 and sent back info so I could tell the difference between the two. It measures 1-7/8" x 3".

I saw that you added the 1970 Bench photostamp to the Bench master set. Nice card. I have a few Bench cards I am still waiting to be added.

What is the difference between the 1969 and 1970 Bench?

Hey Phil,

According to the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, the 1970 versions are 1-7/8" x 3", while the 1969's are 2" x 3-14". Also, it says that "The 1970 issue can be differentiated from the 1969 issue in that backs do not carry a notation at bottom about using the "Official" collectors album." Can't wait to see what else you are adding to the set. I just got a 1970 Dayton Daily News that is on it's way back from PSA early next week.

The Bench in the scan has the same back as "your supposed" 1970 Bench - I say that based on our previous conversations - the Yaz you see in the scan is from 1970 - notice the difference with the back - that is the easiest way to differentiate (IMO) thanks - your Bench is on its way...good luck
