Need a Rackie Robinson

Yes, the "Rackie" was on purpose
So I sold the 48 Leaf Rackie, and with my other sales this week, my budget is exactly $954.35.
I just signed up for VCP (finally) and it shows that PSA 5's are averaging $534.98, 6's averaging $824.02 and 7's averaging $1,317.26.
So a 7 is out of the question.
Anywhere (other than the Bay) that I might find this card in PSA 6 under a grand?
Thanks for your help.

<< <i>Patience......and save just alittle more and you may find a deal on that 7 you want most....... >>
These dont show up on eBay all that often, that's why I was looking for other sites that are reputable for vintage.

It looks like this...
Please let me know if you have one or know of a reputable dealer (besides the bay) that may have one.
Thanks all.
These came up all the time when I DIDNT have the money (go figure) and since I've been ready to purchase, only an OC 5 and a VG3 have come up. Well... an 8 too, but that's way out of my price range.
Anyone know where to find a niceley centered 6 or an average 7?
Thanks!
<< <i>Alan, why not go to PSA's homepage and check out all of the "Authorized dealers" they all have website addresses. >>
Honestly, I had no idea about this. I'll take a look Paul, and thanks!
Good luck with your search.
This one is centered but the borders are a little dark.

Hey man, this is the quest for my dream card, I just figured I'd share with everyone.
We cant all have something as special as a Jim Gantner card to look forward to.
<< <i>PSA 5 ROBINSON

I saw that one. It's ridiculously overpriced though. It's got "better than a 5" centering, but I've seen dead-centered 5's go for $550 ish.
VCP on a 5 right now is $534.98.
Thanks for helping though! I appreciate it!

Whats wrong with collecting a player you like. Everyone doesn't have to collect HOF'ers.

I know Clemaz, that was just a dig back at him for his comment. He doesnt like me and I dont like him. Just a bit of witty banter I guess.
No worries man.

I wouldn't call belittling someone's collection witty banter.
The joy, which is the foundation of collecting, of gumby getting an elusive Gantner is equal to you getting your Robinson; the only difference being is the price tag.
Not looking to get into a flame war, I'm just saying..
Insert sarcastic icon here.
Steve
You all did, of course, miss the "Thanks for the play by play" comment which was quite obviously insinuating that I was giving too much information, or in some way inconveniencing him.
It was a blatant dig, so I just wanted to dig back, that's all.
No worries all.. no fire to fuel...
Can we get back to Rackie now?

Steve
Thank you.
Or can you?
Steve
Anyways, I apologized and I moved on.
Feel free to say what you will.

Unless, of course, Alan is the guy selling the Gantner...then they could actually have similar price tags.
The end is near, my friends.
