Back to Dover Hall in the AM...

This was my last writeup about the site.
My friend Billy is back in action after taking a year off from detecting. He's already found two Spanish half-reales, a sharp 1851 large cent, and several Confederate buttons including an old English "I", just in the last week or so. Not all on this particular site, but the half reales came up there. The site, which is prominently posted and restricted hunting club property (for which Billy says he has permission) is only about two tenths of a mile from my home- just across the river from me.

Actually, when Billy calls me, I am gonna tell him I can "take it or leave it" today. I wanna get back out there, to be sure, but it ain't gotta be this morning. When I got off work I was surprised to find we'd had a hard freeze overnight, and there's frost everywhere. Brr.
It'll all burn off and be a lovely, mild day, but by then it'll be past my bedtime.
If Billy wants to go, I'll go. Otherwise, I'll pass on detecting today and go another day.
Was too cold in the early AM, anyway. (Not really, but cold enough.)
Will have to postpone my next visit to the site. But like Ahnold the Governator once said, "Ahll be back".
I, and I'm sure everyone else, will be impatiently waiting your next "Digg's o' the Day".
