LOL at the bottlecap. People do seem to favor Corona at the beach. image

Nice gold there Dubba--it must be nice to hunt the beaches and find the multitude of jewelry that you find!!!!image

What detector are you swinging? Do you have different detectors for sand/water and inland?

    Thanks,
    Speer34

hey speer34.....i started out with the bh id on the sands but when this land lover decided to venture into the water, it didnt take me long to realize i needed something a little better, so i bought the minelab excalibur.....it's a great water machine and i have total confidence in it's ability.....i now have 3 machines...the excal for the water, the bh id for the sands for it's light weight, and the ace 250 for parks and such....thanks and hh

    Dubba,

Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure what you were swinging out there. How does the excalibur handle the dry sand? Not as well as the wet? I'm hoping that when we retire from the military that we get somewhere near a beach and I'm going to be wanting a water machine.

the excal works great everywhere, water, wet sand , dry sand, woods..... it's just a little on the heavy side to be swinging on land, thats why i like the whites when confined to the beach...hh

Your finds just got my six-year-old daughter Victoria's stamp of approval. She was looking over my shoulder just now, and said they were really nice!
