I would like to add this to my Anacs certificate collection, but the guy wants twice 65RD money for it........It would be a deal if it were a 66RD, but there is no way to make that judgment based on those photos

Personally, I like it a lot for even 2X!
The coin looks just like the 16 Lincoln I picked up a few years back that had an ANACS photo, and the coin being in the flip.

Considering it's been in the same flip since 81........I would have to say undoubtedly. It doesn't appear to have damaged the coin yet. If I did end up getting it, I would certainly give it a good soak in acetone just to be on the safe side.

True, when trying to take on this project, I might have to pay a little more than I would for a coin in a modern holder, but I'm not about to pay twice the PCGS priceguide for a common dated coin.
