This might be a good place to post this.
I was trying to find out what players in Major League Baseball History have full seasons where they hit over twice as many Homeruns than Strikeouts.
I have 3 so far...
Yogi Berra 28 HRs, 12 SOs, 597 At Bats in 1950
Joe DiMaggio 30 HRs, 13 SOs, 541 At Bats in 1941
Joe Sewell 11 HRs, 3 SOs, 502 At Bats in 1932
Anyone have any others????

Boudreau's 1954 season is simply amazing; he attained a career high in homers while attaining a career low in strikeouts, AND he did that while attaining a career high in batting average by 30 points. And he did all this on ankles that sometimes barely allowed him to stand and that ended his playing career shortly thereafter.
Lou Boudreau is perhaps the most under-rated SS of all.
Maybe next to Wagner as the all time best, his defense was great, fine batter as well,
Ripken and Vaughn are close, but Lou was very good and maybe, just possibly, the number two SS ever !!
