Home Metal Detecting

Back puttin' the "Coil to the soil"

After an approx. 2 year break, I have started swinging my metal detector again. I had forgotten how much I missed it. My first find, on my first day back, was a .925 silver pendant with a small ruby inset inside! Great to be back, look forward to reading everyone's posts!

Silver is a beautiful thing to find. I prefer coins but have to admit that I sure don't mind discovering jewelry. I have taken time off from detecting in the past as well but I too have always returned. Welcome - we look forward to sharing your finds in the future. image

    Welcome back Hurricane... Cheers, RickO
  • Silver coinage seems impossible to find in Washington State, although I'm sure it just depends on the location youre searching, but I sure would like to hunt some of those early East Coast sites. Envy you guys who go out and regularly find Seated Lib's, Indian heads etc. Here's a photo of My Fishin Shack in Eastern Washington(THE FRONTIER)!image
