Finally bought a 1942/1 Merc

I picked this up at a local coin show on Sunday. Not the highest grade, but solid for the grade I believe. Any opinions?

When I was a kid back in the late 1950s, I saw an ad for the 1913 Liberty nickel and a few others, including the Merc. The ad was in a comic book, I think. So I pulled every 1942 and 1941 Merc out of circulation that I could find.
The ad didn't say 42 over 41, just 42/41. I couldn't believe how much my Mercs were worth! Then I found out what it really meant.
But, they were the good old days when Mercs, buffaloes, SLQs, etc., were still to be found in everyday change.
Congrats on a nice aquisition!

<< <i>Crispy..... yep, picked it up at the Liberty Coin Show on Sunday. It was a customer that walked in with it and sold it to a dealer. The dealer had it 30 minutes before I bought it. >>
Nice how that works out sometimes. Hadn't been to Ideal Hall before. There did seem to be a few different dealers than the monthly show on Concorde. Mostly the same though. I'm dying to see some new material and can't wait for the big show at Earle Browne. Perhaps we can meet up.
