In too much pain to post....

I did a show this weekend and thanks to Steak Escapes wonderful nasty chicken strips with strands of tendons or gristle or something even worse in them, I now have an abcessed tooth. It has hurt like a SOB constantly for the past 48 hours or so. Went to the dentist this morning and got some antibotics and pain pills to hold me until I can get the root canal done. So if I do post later tonight and it looks like the work of metalmike, thank the pain pills. If anyone has an old ice skate layin around please send it to me and I will try the old "Castaway" extraction trick.

    It was actually a great mall show. I sold a ton of junk and did an amazing trade. Went back sunday and bought some killer stuff. I will post the stuff I got when I actually feel like messing with some stuff.

    Bad food won't give you an instant Root Canal situation.

    Good luck with the procedure, and I hope you have dental insurance!

    The tendon from the chicken got stuck between the teeth and caused the inflamation.

    Feel for you. I had an abcessed tooth once. There is nothing like that pain. You feel like if you had a gun, you would just end it now. Good luck, I hope you don't have to wait long. Mine was in my wisdom tooth, so I had an extraction, but I had to wait about 4 days for an oral surgeon to do the procedure. My dentist would not do the procedure. He thought amoxocillan and vicodan would hold me over till then. It didn't. The pain was constant and if food got into the tooth, it hurt that much worse. Whatever you do, don't eat maple syrup!

    The pain is like no other! Had a root canal last fall and whoever coined the phrase "about as much fun as having a root canal" must have never experienced the pain before the root canal. The procedure was a breeze compared to the pain you have to endure waiting to get into the endodontist. I had to wait 2 weeks.....so I feel your pain! Hang in there brother.
