This isnt 1935. Do you feel a need to refer to native Americans as "Injuns"? Come on man.
Knowledge is the enemy of fear

This I s a COIN forum I was referring to the buffalo nickel, which features a native american on the obverse. The above reference was never intended or directed in any manner way shape or form to be taken as insult to the Native American.
Henceforth, I shall always refer to the buffalo nickel as "The Native American Nickel".
Relax friend have a donut and some coffee >>
"INJUN" is an EXTREMELY offensive name for a native American. It would be like calling a BTW half "the N****R commemorative" Are you seriously that ignorant to not know just how offensive "Injun" really is? There is nothing wrong calling it a buffalo nickel, as thats how its known to 99% of people anyway.
Please accept my apologies.
end of it. (period)

Nice coin Dave!
Very possibly these matte proofs, especially the 1915 and 1916 present the zenith of the Brenner Lincoln Bust
HOW ABOUT A VDB??
One of my favorites from past sales!
<< <i>It is really amazing, looking at these HUGE scale blowups from the little 3/4 inch coin here on the computer screen. And that bust of Lincoln totally'works' at even this large scale. The detail around the eyes, beard hairs, skin wrinkles and even an adams apple, the quality of this bust is amazing, when you really think about it.

Oh yes, another one of my favorites, you know, my favorites list is very long!
ESM, just jumped to #4 in the MATTE PROOF REGISTRY RANKING! His new 1916 moved him up a few spaces. Congrats
Brothers, I gotta tell ya. Last year Brian sat on the phone with me for about half an hour trying to teach me to post photos. I got to where I posted them but about a day later my brain dumped all that info and I forgot it all.
