1937 Walker Half

Just won this off the bay. Looks like a canidate for upgrade? Care to guess what NGC graded it. Will post grade later. Sellers Pic's

    Looking at the lack of luster, I would say NGC gave it a 63/64. It is a nice bold strike which is about right for Philly halves of that time period. If it is regraded, may go 65 but no higher IMOHO..........Rick

    MS64 for strike.. could use better pictures... could go up or down a grade.... Cheers, RickO

  • Im thinking 64, and the lack of luster is due to a bad pic or scan.

    I think the luster is due to a scan. I like it as a 65 from the images. The surfaces look amazingly clean. What kind of ngc holder is it in?

    ms65 strike both side is great, perhaps 66

    Since you ask here is the pic's of the slab sellers pic's. I dont why it didn't grade higher guess I'll have to wait to get it in handunless you all have suggestions.

  • Hopefully the coin will show its true luster when you have it in hand

    Otherwise I'll understand why it only graded 62...

    This coin does not appear to have much "life."

    It looks dull. Hence the 62 grade.

    That coin would be a 65 had it had some luster to it.
