~BST/Wants Thread~

I figured every good forum needs a BST of some sort. Seeing as how we don't have one I figured I would start one. Now I know some of you guys have some metal detecting items you want to get rid of, whether it be an old coil, old find/relic, or a metal detector. I'll start this off!

Wanted: Eclipse DD 6x10, Bigfoot, or Hotfoot for DFX

I'm still looking for a cheap but reliable probe, will consider outright sale, possible trade of some coins- have a little extra silver, dateless buffs or wheat cents and some foreign.

Thanks Jerry for the heads up, I took a chance on the vibraprobe on ebay, I was leaning towards buying that model anyways, saved a little - I hope. I hear their supposed to be pretty reliable. Now if the 3 feet of snow on the ground around here would just start melting!

Speaking of probes, I'm looking for a probe of another sort... the 5 to 6 foot long metal kind.

Anyone know where I can get one of these online?

Kevin, I have a Vibraprobe. It performs as advertized, being able to detect within one inch of the target. The batteries seem to last forever. Overall it's a great tool that I never want to be without!

Great Idea!

Im looking for a decent MD to replace my Bounty hunter Pioneer 101. I love my BH, but am going to hand it over to my girlfriend who i finally got into MD'ing last year. She loves the unit and its a great starter MD for her, i used it going on three years now, and figure its time to upgrade. I would like something similar, i would like a MD that has sound as its major way to ID what is in the ground. I bought a Garrett ACE 250 but hated it as i had to look at the screen to identify what was in the ground. So with out rambling on, does anyone have a decent MD ($200 tops price range) that functions similar to the BH 101?
