My Taco Bell napkin ASE experiment...Awesome results!!

I put a nice white (albeit milk spotted) into a taco bell napkin and placed it in my window sill about 4 months ago. I think the results are really nice, except for the huge milk spot on the sun. Oh well. Do you guys like it?

wow...nice photos...

I am old school...still on dialup so they took a while to load....but were cool to see.

I have an old classic silver coin that some idiot cleaned yes ago......may visit Taco Bell to see if I could make my coin look a tad better...

last week I wrapped one Unc Frankie in a folded newspaper and another in a regular kitchen paper towel and put them on a ledge in the closet. How long should I wait to see results? 3 months? 6 Months?

I started seeing some results in probably about a month...but it took 4-5 months (I don't remember exactly when I started) to get from white to where it is now.

I admit those are very nice and I'm glad you like them.

That being said, those colors are much more muted than what I generally look for in toned ASEs.

The right look is obviously a subjective thing. Newer toned coins often looked baked or artificial to me.

Since any results are still 'doctoring', any time you want..... you can even check progress. The final result is still a doctored coin. Cheers, RickO
