This might be an easy question to answer but here I go... I went to the Master Registry for Mike Schmidt and noticed this card I just had graded is not listed in the "Master" set ...is there a reason for this? am I missing something simple here?
The card is a 1985 fun food proof - thanks in advance for the help here...

A card only gets in when someone adds it to the registry. For a period of time, PSA would not grade those square proofs. I finally got them to grade a Perez square proof after I noticed they had graded another player. If you desire you can add it to the registry. I suspect you will not find many if any of these on any registry yet.

Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
<< <i>There may be a rule , as well , that states that a card is a required card , if there are 3 or more, before it is a required card for a master set. >>
I have been wondering about this rule. I think it was in effect for a period of time but am not sure they are following this rule any longer.
Also on the having to have a set registered to request it, unless they monitor in the back office, you can go online and request a card be added without having a set registered. What happens to the request after the fact is anyone's guess.

the 60's and 70's and they always say NO!
NEWS TO ME!
I add an ebay listing for one currently listed. I would guess the difference is these are called proofs but were the final version of what was issued. Without specific information from PSA on guidelines it is anyones guess.
