Question 1: Who here has EVER dunked a basketball on a 10 foot rim?
Question 2: Who here can dunk a basketball on a 10 foot rim NOW?
I'm only 5'9'' (and Asian at that), but I used to argue back and forth with my friend (who was 6'5''and started on his state champion basketball team) that if I made it my life's goal, I could dunk a basketball.

never could do the dunking at an early age....but can also dunk those wings
I could do it again even without making it my life's goal, but the odds grow longer and longer the more time passes
I remember an athlete in the 1960's named Lonnie Wright. He played football for the Denver Broncos in the AFL and played basketball for the Denver Rockets of the ABA. He was 6'1" tall. Before, during and after basketball practice for the Rockets he would make some extra cash by betting others money that he could jump up and pick a quarter off of the top of the basketball backboard (which stand 13' off the floor). A person would take the bet, a ladder was used to put a quarter on the top of the backboard and Lonnie Wright would then jump up and pick the quarter off of the top of the backboard.
Lonnie's thighs were huge and he could sky better than anyone. His vertical leap had to be 50' plus to be able to do this.
See my picture below.....
