Home Metal Detecting

My MD finds followup

I am currently on a Winter vacation in a warm climate. All of my pictures of my finds are on my computer in Colorado. I will try to take some pictures tomorrow of some of the rings I have found, and see if I can figure out how to post them here. I am almost 74 years old and am not too swift with the computer. So, bear with me.

ASUtodd.....Sorry to hear you have not found much. Hang in there. It will come. Patience is a virtue with metal detecting. I use to detect in what I believe to be your country. I would guess you are in the Phoenix area. I visited my brother who use to live there. I found some goodies in a couple of parks there. I found several wheat pennies, a few Mercury dimes and a 1951-S silver Washington Quarter in Phoenix. I was a coin dealer for 12 years and that helps in knowing the value of any coins I find.

It takes some folks a while to learn the picture-posting thing, so don't feel like you're over the hill or anything. image

Obviously, you don't lack detecting experience, so we look forward to seeing your finds and hearing your stories as you find more. We've got other Colorado folk here.
