They are going to whoop San Diego, with or without LT and Rivers.

I wanted a Colts vs Pats match up image

Like Yankees vs Red Sox, it's just not the same with any other team.
  • Ah not so grasshopper (for you older readers). You play to win, and the Pats should have an easier time against the bolts.

If the Indy fans could get in Rivers' head, wait until he hears Foxboro's finest.

I will admit that I am pleased! Im not writing off San Diego by any chance though... I expect a very tough game from them.
  • Today's game meant absolutely nothign to the Patriots. Though they beat the Chargers 24 and the Colts by four in the regular season, the first game was at home (and over four months ago), the second at home. Further the Colts game had three pass interference calls go against the Patriots in the end zone, two of them were absolutely horrible calls, one could have gone either way

The chance of New England losing to Indianapolis would be only marginally greater than the chance of losing to San Diego

I disagree with the last comment. The Colts arguably should have beaten the Pats in the regular season, while San Diego is a team with a pretty good defense and the running back of our generation that will be undone by their goofy quarterback and overwhelmed head coach.

    Pats, 31-10.

Any Patriots fan would say it would be sweeter going through Manning and the Colts, but any HONEST Patriot fan would rather play San Diego, I for one pumped my fist when Indy lost today.......

There is also the arguement that it would have been a 20 point game rather than a four point game if those pass inteference rcalls went the Patriots way
