I bought this from them on eBay - a cheaper coin, but I didn't have a problem with the transaction and I really like the cent. I like some of their pics and others less-so - they're better than most of the crapola pics on eBay. Their prices seem a bit on the high side for what you get, at least as far as the few coins I follow fairly closely that I've seen offered there, but if you want it and you can afford it, buy it - whatever - nobody's holding a gun to your head.
<< <i>I've purchased two coins from the NFC website.
Their pictures are bad. Their brightness is so low, that most gold coins looks a dark brownish orange. The pictures are also small.
One of the coins I got was [edit] so-so and not anything special. The other coin I got had color that I liked. But it is absolutely impossible to tell from their photos what you actually will get.
I don't look at expensive coins that are represented poorly.
One of my packages was mislabeled and took a whole month to get to me. Fortunately it did get to me.
I can see how they might list a coin on their website and on eBay. Folks scan that website and sometimes snap things up shortly after being listed. >>
Welcome to the 3000 hit club. You are in some good company. George Brett, Tony Gywen and Robin Ventura. Congrats.
I had an issue with them at a show (lowball offer) so I have never attempted to purchase from them again. Prior to that I visited their office/showroom in Longwood, Fl and overpaid for several common date coins......no thanks

<< <i>It means that they probably sold it off eBay and didn't have a chance to remove it before you bid on it. >>
That can't be it becuase they listed it 20 minutes before the sale.

Then I guess they listed it in error.
