Collecting Kennedy Half questions

I have been looking for a very nice complete album for month's now.
I have noticed that in this short time that complete sets PDS&S Kennedy's seem to be on fire. The prices are going up big time.
Is this me or is there something I am missing?
How much should I expect to pay for a complete Album with uncirculated, proofs and silver proofs?

I just noticed earlier that the retail market is looking pretty strong. Silvertowne is
selling one of the regular issues for $12.95 ('78-D I believe). Of course you're bet-
ter off finding these in mint sets or rolls if you want them and they'll be a lot less.
Even the commons are at $1.45.

I can't believe there has been any significant change in supply so it's probably a
little demand spike. Don't get swept up in this. It's unlikely these can make any
kind of sustained move while the mint sets are available.

Look for coin vault or one of the others to be doing a "special" on them? Maybe that is why they are going up? Current supply being sucked up for a promotion maybe?

I still maintain that a lot of Kennedys got trashed by the casino expansion of the '90's. While they are not a heavily collected series, they are nice big coins with enough out there to be interesting. A few more people are getting them to search for silver and thinking they should looks for a set while they are going through them anyway.

Add it up and it is putting some upward pressure on prices.

I have noticed considerable newbie and YN interest in Kennedy's in recent months. Could be the phenomena is more widespread than I thought. I will follow this more closely. Cheers, RickO

Kennedys are one of the most heavily collected series of all time. Have been since day one.
