Will this 1826 CBH Grade? Grade opinions?

I am submitting a batch of CBHs and am wondering if this will grade due to the reverse scratch. Yeah or nay? What grade would you say? I say G4.

    No way, sorry....not even AG-3

I do not think PCGS will accept that scratch.

  • With rim so worn into lettering, AG3 would be about right. The scratch plus the rim nick at 4:00 on reverse will BB this one I think.

I think PCGS would consider it damaged and would bag it.
Not just the scratch but the rim dings as well.

They might holder it Ag or Fr, there not concerned with coins this low grade/value with a few marks as much!

Doubt it, but at this grade level it might be considered "acceptable" damage for the grade. Unless you have submission credits that are about to expire, though, why put this one in a plastic tomb?

I think the reverse gouge will bag it.
