David I hope you don't mind if I use the USCF to locate this guy to answer a few questions- maybe he lurks and will be kind enough to explain what is going on
Some of us would like a brief explanation into his thought process.
Hey James- nice guy and all- but wha's up with the silent move?
A few here happen to have a few submissions with Anacs- care to expound on what will happen to them?

ANACS has recently been sold by Anderson Press Incorporated to Driving Force, LLC, of Colorado, owned by James Taylor. The purchase was effective December 21, 2007 and the company is being relocated to suburban Denver, Colorado.
The office is currently closed for the holidays to allow time for the move.
Customers that had submissions at the Austin location please rest assured that they are being handled in the safest and most professional of manners as they are transported by armored service to the new office.
Business will resume and submissions will begin to ship out January 2, 2008. If there are any questions please don't hesitate to contact Mr. Taylor at: James.Taylor@ANACS.com
The new ANACS office will be located at:
6555 S. Kenton St, Suite 303

<< <i>I don't think one need worry that much about their coins, but since this doesn't seem to be the same ANACS that you originally sent them to; they should by all rights give you the option to have them returned ungraded. >>
Are you for real? Why isn't it the same company that someone sent the coins too? Just because managment changed, it is still the same company.

The positions that were held by the employees here in Austin were filled with employees from ICG. It's ICG now, but the name is the same.

My assumption was that it won't be the same graders grading your coins duh!!
The ANACS graders were dumped.
Many ICG people (graders?) left with Taylor at greatly reduced salaries.
I see two struggling companies trying to grade coins with one set of graders split between them.
For the new, new ANACS to be up and running Jan 2nd, the graders had to come from somewhere.
Now, will ICG still be up and running Jan. 2nd?

Your statement stands on it's on merits. You were talking about the Company. In every grading company, graders come and graders go, you never know who is grading your individual coin. You don't know which graders will make the move to CO so your "assumption" is just a bunch of "BS" duh!
