They cancelled after it had ended and you had the ebay emails saying you won?

  • This is the only Bust dollar in Rarcoa completed auctions.. So how long ago did this happen? Rarcoa is local so I often watch their auctions (I can pick up and save postage) I don't know if I ever seen them list an auction like you describe. Have a link?
  • I have spent thousands of dollars with Rarcoa, which is convienently located about 45 mins from my home. Never had a single problem, and always got great service from them. That is unusual though that they would cancel an auction near the end. I suggest calling them.

Sometimes the "business" that's attracted on ebay is not business at all.

Are you sure that they cancelled it, and not fleaBay because of one of their imaginary listing errors?

We have had a long and thoroughly satisfying business relationship with Rarcoa, ever since we bought their old location in downtown Chicago from them on a handshake.

Steve, before you get all up in arms about this, you really should call them. Don who handles their U.S. type is a very honorable person and I trust him implicitly. I have done a lot of business with RARCOA and they are all good people. eBay has been terrible lately about canceling auctions because someone bid in the auction that was determined as not being completely kosher. I don't really buy but I have had several auctions as a seller canceled because a bidder along the way had been NARU'd. So like I said, before you jump the gun give them a call. Who knows, maybe they were messed with by the eBay gods and you can pick the coin off without the obnoxious fees.

Yes, can we please have a link to this 'cancelled auction'? All too many times here we get only 1 side of the story and when it all comes out it is hardly what was first reported.

(Not saying that this didn't happen to you) but a link gives the board an opportunity to see both sides of a story.

    Good for you.

I've tried calling them to buy an item off eBay to save me some money and they said they do not end auctions early.

I wasn't saying to call them to end the auction early. The auction has been canceled meaning eBay has essentially given up their right to complain.
  • Yeah, I spoke to april abouit all and its kosher.. I was jsut bummed and angry that it vanished. Ebay bounced it because of a typo so I'm workign with april and shes working with ebay to fix it.

I take it all back and it really seems that they are good folks.
