Need eBay Advice, FAST!

I know many members here are quick to take care of things like this, but is this guy legit?

No activity in over a year, and all of a sudden many coins priced in the many thousands...and no paypal. Earlier today some forum members reported a seller whose last two feedback showed to be a hijacked account.

If you have doubts then don't bid or here's another truly friendly suggestion. Find one of his lesser priced items and place a bid. While you're high bidder, conduct an advanced search by seller, for contact info on him/her.

If there is a number associated with the account, call it and speak with him. Even if you must wait till later today, call. If you do succeed in getting through ask him to address all your concerns. Should you fail to be able to ascertain the identity of the seller you then have just grounds to retract/ cancel your bid.

Granted, eBay is a very dangerous place and it is very wise to be watchful and careful but you cannot spend all your time worrying about things that really may be unwarranted. I DO see and understand your point just as I can appreciate your concern but if it truly troubles you, either take pro-active measure to address your concerns or just stay away from this seller and or sellers like him.

You simply cannot live in constant fear of everything. Do something positive to address your concerns or just stay away. BTW, Good Luck to you. For the kind of money we are looking at, I digress and say that your sense of Caution, in this instance, may well be quite warranted.

Again, regardless .... Good Luck and keep us posted, OK? imageimage

There was another thread on this seller returning after two years and it was concluded they are legit.

Anytime you're in a hurry you're in an error likely situation. Ebay isn't dangerous if you go slow and use good judgement.
