Ya I noticed that, the mint went ahead and hit my debit card today, I was not expecting the items to ship that quick and had not set the funds aside yet, the cancel box was still there but it would not let me cancel the order, I called the Mint and they could not stop the order, they said it was ready to ship! Looks like these might arrive in time for Christmas.

Coin World reported that these sets contain the burnished W mintmarked Eagles...although they also reported the GW coins covers cost 19.95, instead of the actual price of 14.95...guess we shall see...

The w.....but if the Mint tries to give us an early Christmas present by issuing a burnished non w business strike, watch out.

  • These are ready to ship, pretty quick, So you have to assume, the silver holds the W. I think the bullion coins, come from a different network, through the mint.

    i ordered a few....and ISAR too

the non W would be worth more...I think? because it came from West Point. a burnished non-W? or a non-burnished non-W from West Point???

I hope I don't get dizzy when I rotate the coins in it's special holder.
  • Weren't the W Eagles issued previously this year...??

Some people must have received their sets by now. Is it or isn't it, that is the question?

Ten just arrived via FedEx - Ok what everyone is waiting on -- ASE is burnished with the "W" Mintmark - the Prez and Sac Dollars are Satin Finish - ASE below par - Prez and Sac above average.

I wonder where this will place the total mintages? image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

I was hoping for something other than the burnished W too.

For me, my 1st day 12:00 item orders have always proved disappointing. My nicest orders (the ones with 70’s) sometime come from middle run orders but most I get come from orders placed 2 weeks or less of “waiting list” status orders.
My late order SAE Sets were outstanding. I lucked out by placing a 2006 W burnished order on the last day and made 70’s. I made that order because my early order of 10 sets ASE had terrible Burnished W’s.

I like to spread out my orders instead of just doing a single big order despite the extra shipping cost.

    Coin Set (XA1)
My last order was Order Date: 12/19/2007, yesterday it was expected to ship 1/31/2008, today its expected to ship on 12/31/2007. It’s back-ordered

My 1st day order still has not shipped.
My other 3 orders are In stock and reserved.
Will do a few more, if possible.
    Hoping for some nice ones.
