What do you think of this 20 center?

I'm looking for a decent AU piece for my 7070 to replace the current XF40 coin. What is your oppinion of this coin?

Nice strike. Probably dipped to get that white look though....probably not bad enough from keeping it from slabbing (at least from what I can tell from the pics). Although, if it's for a 7070, you don't care about a slab. Go for it if the price is right

Well, I just had the winning bid on this coin.............for $355. The coin is raw, but the seller has a return policy. If the coin turns out to be a problem free 55 or 58, then it's probably a pretty darned good deal. We shall see.

Just as an FYI - I think I see the top of a 5 of the date under the 7 of the date repunched into the denticals. Study this area when you get the coin in hand. If I'm right it will also have the S over S Mint Mark. This is a common variety, but still interesting. So common I have 2 of them right now. -- As for the coin in general it looks pleasing to me in the pictures.

As always, in person, will tell alot more. The angle of the photo makes judging a little more difficult. Fortunately there is a return policy. I'll update when I recieve the coin. I also think I see some clashing below the pole and cap.......anyone else see that. It appears the leaves from the reverse.
