Other people's words in my mouth, or rather keystrokes.
Now at the time I didnt do as much collecting or reading on coins. I know its used for medical purposes. The mint has been putting out several issues of coins. And a few other uses. So I did some math in my head and realized this guy has to be wrong. Which leaves me wondering. Exactly how rare is Platinum?
You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.
Platinum $2000.00 an ounce by New Years ?
Diesel $5.00 gallon by New Years ?
I got a Jeep Diesel - gas prices don't concern me

<< <i>The History Channel is usually pretty good with facts but I've caught them wrong on several occasions. I saw a show maybe four or five years ago in which a supposed expert said something along the lines "if you took all the known mined Platinum in the world you couldnt fill a trash dumpster."

Platinum is rare, the coveted treasure of discerning individuals. There is very little platinum on this earth and it is found in very few places around the world. This exquisite metal is 30 times rarer than gold. In fact, it is estimated that if all the platinum in the world were poured into one Olympic swimming pool it would be scarcely deep enough to cover your ankles. Gold would fill more than three pools. Platinum's rarity makes it exclusive and distinctive - a celebration of your individuality.
Found that on the web. It would help if I knew how big an olympic sized swimming pool actually is tho.

There must be two spaces 2.5 m wide outside lanes 1 and 8 (in effect, two empty lanes). Also, the 50 metres length must be between the touch pads, if they are used.

BTW, check my previous predictons on the subject. I think I am doing pretty well.
I think it might hit $1600 in less time than that.
