Liberty in 2008

I don't know if I'll be able to collect all the FS coins.

I will attempt to collect the examples of Lady Liberty.

Anyone know how many Presidents fit the criteria.

I'm really into the capped bust, are you?

Thats a neat looking coin. I think the only coins that stand a chance at selling at a premium over spot in the long run will be the ones without a spouse on them. In the case of this one, it may attract Seated collectors as well as bust enthusiasts.

"Anyone know how many Presidents fit the criteria."

I believe the answer is four.

5 actually but only 4 of them will feature Lady Kiberty.

There is one much later in the series that has another woman on it, but it is not Liberty, and don't forget many years from now the key will be the William Clinton first spouse. image

Please, do not even think of such a thing.... who would wish such a disaster on this great country.... horrors - almost, well perhaps for sure, worse than jimmy carter... and that is the benchmark for the bottom of the barrel. Cheers, RickO
  • There will be 4 of the "Liberty" designs. That's why the mint went through the extra trouble of making special 4-coin presentation boxes just to hold this 4-coin subset for us image

The Mint will be producing 2 First Spouse coins in 2008 that bear the likeness of Liberty. The third and fourth coins in 2008 will bear the likeness of a bust liberty and then a seated liberty. The third coin is a Jackson and I forget the fourth to be issued. They are VERY pretty coins when you look at the obverse.

i like the obverse of Jefferson Liberty but the reverse killed the coin.

the Capped Bust and Seated LIberty are very nice...do we know what the reverse will be?

How many fit the criteria? How many can even define Liberty image
