Mint Stats up at NN For 12-10-2007

Read 'em and Weep:
David Harper's Text:
"Who would have thought I would be writing about asterisks for two weeks in a row? The asterisk was put back on the "W" uncirculated silver American Eagle in the box below.
The Mint has sold another 15,421 in the new 2007 annual uncirculated dollar coin set. I have to find a spot for this number to be routinely reported.
Speaking of spots, the new $1 Presidential coin sets have arrived. I had to kick out the Greetings from America series to make room. We will see how their popularity develops.
Madison First Spouse has kicked out Kennedy. They will be sold into 2008.
The Mint has run out of 2007 gold, silver and platinum American Eagles for its distribution network so the November numbers are it for the year."

I don't know how he can say that since it is December 13th and I just ordered 10 1/4 ounce Proofs with no problem.
So does the 563,000 include the dollar sets also?
Box of 20
That means using the same ratio, the the AGE Proof $10 Coins scheduled at 16,000 Coins should sell out at just over 10, 200 Coins.
The sales for the the AGE Proof $10 Coin are at 9,879, so only about 400+/- left?
I knew it would happen.

Coinboy...I believe he is addressing the Unc. & not the proofs...
There are 2,371 platinum four-coin sets but ~800 or so of the platinum ounce, half ounce and quarter ounce singles.
Does this mean there are 2,371 one ouncers PLUS the 858 single one ouncers making that a total of 3,229 1 ounce coins potentially available?

The four-coin set has one of each denomination so you need to add the two numbers to get the total sales of each coin.
<< <i>Based on this information, it looks like there are no more than about 8,000 First Spouse Collectors, at most. >>
Probably closer to half of that if you remove the dolphins!
