Did PCGS forget that they can "lock" threads instead of only nuking them?

In the interest of fair play whatever happened to PCGS "locking" slightly inappropriate threads instead of always having to nuke them?

Just a reminder. Sometimes locking a thread might be a more appropriate and reasonable action for PCGS to take.

Sometimes we can make our points known but do not have to repeat ourselves over and over again with a run-on thread.

I will also send this to sportsmoderator as well.

    Yes, the one titled "WOW! Even the French are standing up" was locked.

    No, I haven't forgotten that. In fact I just locked one.
    The majority of times threads will go poof. If a thread were actually on topic for a change and then goes off, I may lock it.
