Dolley Proof Backordered

Just got an e-mail from the Mint. My Dolley Madison Proof, which was to be shipped on 12/17, is now backordered until 1/02/08. Anybody else ?

I got the same notice a while back and since I was buying it for a Christmas present I canceled the order.

Well lo and behold, they sold at least 10 now.



Don't mind me I am just mad because I am broke and can't order any.

What are the going for on e-bay? Are they below mint pricing yet?

I avoided the whole problem by not ordering any at a price of over $1,000 per ounce, screw them.
