An Idea For Numismatists of All Levels...

Perhaps this has been done, if so, please point the direction...
I was thinking that it would be nice to have a central data location along with photos as they were available of known counterfeits, common alterations, fakes, etc. PCGS has the book they send out with subscription but how about a central internet site that covers the topic that can be used as a reference? Then as new things come along they can easily be added, and the site updated.
Does something like this exist?

Thats is what I'm trying to do with my website The Numismatic Enquirer, a counterfeit detection site.
I have tons more coins to update the site with.
