Who would you like to thank?

Being that the year is almost over is there anyone in particular you would like to thank for coin related info on here? I would like to thank everyone first and in particular RickO, Type 2, Russ, lordmarcovan and Longacre for some good advice since I've been on here, I've picked up some good info from you...thanks. And of course I thank PCGS for making it all possible.

Like to thank Home Run Hall for the boards, and the great "Monday Morning Memories" threads.

Yes PCGS would be tops on my list because without the forums I probably would not have ever had the opportunity to have 'met' many of you. I don't think I can single out anyone because I am not an overly frequent poster but the knowledge I have gained from this forum has helped me tremendously in my collecting endeavors...and that is not to mention the constant entertainment that I get from the various eBay auction posts, lively 'discussions' about a variety of things (before they go poof!) etc.

So really for me I would have to say 'Thanks' to PCGS and to everyone who posts here and on the other boards! It's been great!

I guess I'll just thank all the brothers and sisters here for their sometimes intelligent and sometimes goofy a$$ed topics and responses. It's always a great read. I love it here and I love coins.

    My list is too long.

Longer, sadly, than my memory is. image

A tip o' the ol' Holey Gold Hat to our forum sponsors, though.

And all you "Good Guys" (and Gals)... you know who you are. Or maybe some of you don't, because nobody's said thanks.

    Nice thread idea.

    Thanks.

I would like to thank PCGS for having this resource available. It is indeed invaluable and I would not know where to go for some questions if this wasn't here. I would also have to find something else to fill time at work......

I couldn't begin to list the ones who've influenced me over the years, but some of the short list of names that come to mind right away are Cladking, Aethelred, and ajaan. (The latter two being primarily Darksiders).

I'd also like to thank PCGS for maintaining these boards.

In addition, I'd like to thank Mark Feld for finding an originally toned 19 P Stander in FH 6 for me, something I had been trying to find for a good three years. I'd also like to thank Mark and Truthteller for screening potential purchases I was considering this year.

Lastly, I'd like to thank Adrian Crane and Brandon Kelly for selling me my beautiful 1905 O Barber Half in PC 5, a coin which I had been trying to find for four full years.

  • I don't post a lot but I read this forum everyday and I have learned very much in the last few years and want to thank everyone, it has been a great learning forum not only for coins but the economy.I don't think I have posted 1 time but I have read every post of the 5,000+ post that Goldsaint started. A lot of it was over my head but I got the general message I think. I lot of other posts are very interesting and this forum is the high point of a lot of days. Coxe, Wolf, Messydesk, and the rest of the VAM guys- I've learned so much from them in the last couple of months, and they've been willing to help me ID some of my VAM finds...

Also, everyone who has left kind words, comments, and suggestions for my website.

Lastly, PCGS and David Hall, for providing this excellent learning venue. You not only learn about coins here, you learn about human nature!

Seriously, there are a bunch of great folks on this board who willingly offer their time, advice, comments and suggestions. Frankly, without this forum I would not be as active in numismatics as I have become. Shout out to Dave Hallimage!!!

I'd also like to give a special shout out to LeeGimage! I especially enjoy Lee's Classic Commemorative and Copper for the Weekend Threads. In addition, Lee has always been very generous with his time and advice regarding my favorite numismatic endeavor...Collecting Lincoln Cents!!!
