Bad Day At Flatrock...

Ugghh... today is the roughest day of my (albeit short) numismatic life...

I won't go into details but suffice it to say that it was emotionally as well as financially challenging. Lessons learned for sure.

As collectors, how do you handle the "tough" days? Me, I'm worried what to say if the wife asks... lol...

Well, what is tough? I am a speculator so have learned to accept losses. Regardless of experience it is not fun to take a loss. Did you take a loss today?

I've averaged under 2 1/2 hours of sleep for at least the past week on weekdays... coins are an escape from the real world.

I know the pain! I've experienced some pretty crumby days where some big money has been lost.

Just tell yourself that it's the price of your education, because that's really what it is (at least in my situations)

When it happens to me I say; Honey, your Mom was right about me being a screw-up, I made another mistake and was wrong about buying this __________.
I'll do better next time.
