Anyone here ajtress on ebay?

I was bidding on this 1894-s pcgs ms61pl dollar on the bay and was outbid, was just wondering if a board member won it. If so, congrats, it is a rare date pl morgan.image

Thanks rampage, I was trying to post the link and was getting a bunch of nonsense when trying to link it.

Ajtress, like Centsles, has beat me out on a lot of nice type coins and gold on ebay. Ajtress has bought a lot of ebay slabbed gold...sort of like a human vacuum cleaner.

Don't know who they are, but would not be surprised if they visit here.

This buyer has purchased many high dollar coins from me, and is not afraid to pony up.

  • Abby Tress has bought several high end coins from me and has always been prompt and courteous.
She will "step up to the plate" to acquire really nice coins. Dave W

I guess I'm bidding on the right things, she has outsniped me twice lately. But she buys way too much to be collecting (in my opinion). This is a buying account for a seller. --jerry

I recall at least two of my coins she purchased on ebay. Very pleasant and pays quickly.

she bought an 1807 $5 PCGS VF20 from me earlier this year... it then shows up in one of the Heritage auctions! If it was her who auctioned it, I don't think she ended up making any money though, she might have even lost a little.
  • ajtress has out sniped me twice in the past 3 years. Both coins appeared nice and ungraded from the scans/pictures on ebay. Both were sort of a gamble for me and I guess she had the same theory.

Edit: They are on a spending spree! image $210,283.74 spent the past 30 days from what I could search up, and many sellers look like they are board members/sellers with good reputations, and bluemooncoins too image

Both the coins I got outsniped on were 1931-s, one cent and one Buffalo. Tonight I bid on an NGC MS65 old gen holder buffalo with a fuzzy photo but obvious color. It's one of those I might not have gambled on the fuzzy photo except for it being my father's birth year and I'm working on a small set (I'll have to skip the Saint, for example). Anyway, If he'd been born a day earlier (birthday is 1/1/31) or I hadn't seen this auction, ajtress would have picked this up for $146 less. --Jerry
