1924D Lincoln PVC Contamination, What To Do...?

A weakly struck 1924D. The coin has PVC "issues". Rescued it from a flip 4 years ago. Should I;
1. Do nothing.
2. Soak it in acetone.
3. Soak it in olive oil, or some other oil.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions! I have never dipped or soaked anything from the collection, but am concerned this one might get worse (if I continue to do nothing). If something can help this, please let me know. Again, Thanks!

Exactly!
i think steve27 is correct........................it's the same stuff seen on statues
Take a Q-Tip and rub the stuff off. Might get it all and probably won't hurt the coin. Pretty non-invasive.
