ModernCoinMart Will Be Buying 10th Anniversary Platinum Sets at a Premium over U.S. Mint Cost!

Our buy price is currently $2100 per set.

ModernCoinMart will be buying 10th anniversary platinum sets at a premium over U.S. Mint cost. We will quote you a buy price beginning Monday, December 10th if you call me at the number below and are prepared to make a confirmation. No deals or prices via email or messaging. We will buy multiple sets from a single party. If you wish to make a deal before then, you can quote us and we will consider it. The following conditions must be met:

1) Mint must maintain its one set per household rule as of the initial order date.

2) Orders must all be placed on first day 12/13.

3) Mint order numbers must be emailed to me on 12/13.

4) Sets must be delivered to me in a timely manner (shipped within a few days) after you get them and shipping is at your expense.

5) Outer and inner U.S. Mint boxes must remain sealed.

We will make payment via company check. Normally I'm able to get checks out on the same day that I receive the coins. In the case of high volume, a check would go out the next day at the very latest, but we do our best to get checks out same day.

Thank you!

It means "to the top". I'll post if lest the poster is accused of exceeding his "one ttt" per day limit. The rules only allow for one "ttt" per day to give all an equal chance to post their items.

  • To the top of the page. Over time, as new posts are made to this forum, the ones that have not received replies will slowly sink to the bottom; and eventually onto page 2, then page 3, etc. When a poster types "TTT" into a post, a new reply is made, and thus bringing the post back "To the top" of that forum, for more people to view.

    Make sense now?

I called and emailed several times with previous similar offers and could never get a response from George (one returned call when I was not home, no further response). I missed out on the "high" early offers and ended up selling on eBay for next to nothing. NOT IMPRESSED.

PM me if you wish to make amends.

Sounds like you were the one with the problem if you sold next to nothing.
I called George, got right through, had a nice chat, got the confirmation, and everything is going well.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I think that your experience has been the exception, rather than the rule.

Convention dictates that once George (or another party) calls and leaves a message, it is your turn to call back.

AKbeez--- maybe time difference was a factor? I don't know, but George is a good guy and he did return your call. Also, we have 14 people that work at JMRC, you could have pressed another extension number. Prices do change. Sorry it didn't work out for you.

John, you responded quickly at the time to my inquiry and I appreciated that. Time may have been a factor (4 time zones), but I did call 4 times and several emails, with only one return call and email (I actually requested an email response to help with the time diff). I also left a message with another rep you referred me to with no response. After a week of that, your prices dropped to where it was not worth proceeding. I have done business in the past with your firm and got great service...but this was frustrating. Probably just fell through the cracks...

Still buying at $2100., if you should get a better offer let George know... 1 800 362 9004 EXT 355 (does not apply to prior confirmations)

Sorry Akbeez....... I'll be the first to admit we do better with phone calls then email because we get so darn many and tons of spam, often good emails end up in junk mail.

So the offer applies only to sets ordered on the 13th? If one confirms today and orders today, is that acceptable?
