ACE 250 Pro Graphic Target ID Metal Detector
with both 6.5 x 9" and 9 x 12" PROformance Searchcoils
Contemplating purchasing this detector, I have basically no experience detecting at all, but want to give it a try. Is the predator a better model? I will be hunting on old farms and perhaps the eastern shore area. Would like to find coins, but I live in Delaware, so there may be historical objects of interest . I know there were historical battles fought in this area. Tell me what machine would be best for me. Thanks for info. Also , I don't want to spend too much money until I know if I will enjoy it.

I think the Garrett 250 is a perfect machine for a beginner. So far my best coin find was a 1937 Mercury dime. I did manage to find a friends diamond earring. As they say here, learn your machine.
