Daylight savings and work have all but killed my field time. One of my job sites is close to a 6 acre field, so I'm able to sneak away for a little sunset dirt time a couple hours a week.
The site is a crop field that has been in use for a couple hundred years with a peak around 1930. Trashiest site I've hunted so far. Around 30 to 1, so you can just imagine how many holes I've dug.

This is from one of the first sites I detected 3 years ago. I must have walked over this a dozen times.

(Dumb question, I suppose, since we've had two frosts here, but right now it's back to shirt-sleeve weather.)
