    << <i>Buying: Ugly Old Gold >>

There is no such thing as ugly old gold. It's all beautiful. image

Well, OK, maybe THIS one is ugly:

    image

Nah, I have a hard time finding even that one ugly. (It's one of my favorites on my Holey Gold Hat, actually.)

    << <i>All modern world proof coins. >>

Sets, or proof singles? Minimum value? I have some proof single world coins but they are pretty low-value pieces; worth a buck or two each at most, I believe. Might have some Canadian proof or P/L silver.

Bought a gorgeous 1884-CC Double Eagle in Choice AU and it will be on the website shortly.

A really nice 1847/7 Half Eagle in AU-58 too

In the middle of a deal on another NGC Proof High Relief. This will be nearly 8 Choice Unc High Reliefs I've had since FUN. Almost one a week!

I really like High Reliefs! ( also need a low grade specimen for a good luck coin for a friend of mine )

The 1859-O Double Eagle has been paid for so it's gone. My apologies to those who inquired about that coin. I WILL be on the constant lookout for others. I'm also interested in 1861-O Double Eagles.

And Better Saints. Please offer me 20-S and 1921 Saints. I have a waiting list for these coins.

Toward the end of the month I will also have several GOLD Pope John Paul coins. Vatican Mint. These will not last. I will begin doing serious research as to their values. They won't be cheap but they will be priced fairly. I'm interested in all Pope John Paul coins, in gold and silver. If you have any please offer them to me.

In addition, I was authorized by the Secretary of State of Florida to strike official medallions for the State of Florida more than a decade ago. The coins are pretty and I struck several thousand in 1/4 Oz .999 silver, less than 1,000 of them in 1/10 Oz .999 Gold ( Panda sized ) and less than 100 in 1/4 Oz .999 Gold. These are the real Mcoy and the design blows away the federal Fla quarters. I suppose a good lawyer could possibly make the case that the government took my design. President Reagans Florida Nominee for Take Pride in America endorced my medallions and Jimmy Buffet had expressed an interest in getting behind the project. I also appeared on Eyewitness News Palm Beach. However after striking a number of them I ran out of money and time and the project was abandoned. Therefore the ones I sold and the ones I have left are the only remnants left of this project. I WILL be looking to get them slabbed as I have the supporting documentation to prove their official status. If anyone has an interest in purchasing some of them, or would have an interest in perhaps re-kindling the project, please contact me off forum and we'll talk about it. Principals only please and if you would consider taking the project to the public, it would require 6 figures in order to do so. Best that you know that up front. There's a lot more in terms of details, so call and we'll discuss.

I also still need coin jewelry in gold and sterling silver, diamonds, antique jewelry, Isle of Man Cats in silver and gold, and 22 and 24 K gold chains and jewelry from Asia, preferably from Vietnam although I'll consider the Thai and Chinese manufactured gold. This is for our other business.

    Thank you for your business!

The 1856-C shown above is sold! Nice coin with a neat history to it.

We're technically off tomorrow, Easter Sunday but I will be checking emails and will spend some time in the office as we have tons of images that need to be added to the website along with other more mundane stuff that needs to be done. So your email will not go un-noticed and I'll try to respond tomorrow, if not, then monday. There will hopefully be an additional 100 or so imaged coins on our website by Monday night and another hundred or so before the end of the week.

By the way, did you know that:

Hundreds of thousands of dollars in purchases and sales have been made between myself and other forumites just in the last few months?

Here are some of those coins:

    1859-O Double Eagle, XF-45

    Literally dozens of MS-65 Saints
More than 100 other gold coins
25+ World gold and slver coins
More than 2 dozen silver dollars

I'm eager and ready to either buy your coins outright, accept them on consignment and will market them to my customer list which is quite extensive, help you place the coins at auction, trade for other coins, submit your coins for CAC designation, help you get rid of the coins that are not serving their purpose anymore and get you back on track whether you are collecting for fun or investment, or just help with a general overview of what you are doing in this business to get on focus or enhance your focus. Send me an email or call me on the phone. Anytime.

Thank you very much for your business and Happy Easter!

    Best Regards

UPDATE: Here's me performing the near magical task of cracking a segs holder. This coin came back lower and I sold it at the lower grade despite being offered as is in the segs holder. But they got it wrong too as it really did qualify for unc

Some really neat material being added to the website all weekend long. Still have more than 40 new coins to add, and then as time permits at least another 50 new world coins to add as well. If you have any foreign coins, whether they are "by the pound" or one of a kind rarities, please give us a shot at buying your coins or offering your coins to our extensive client base.

If you would prefer to give your coins the maximum amount of exposure to a quality list of numismatists, investors, dealers and more, please contact me with what you have, and see if we can agree on adding your material to our website which receives great exposure and traffic. Contact me by phone or email for this selling opportunity.

We would also be happy to make you almost instant offers to buy your material outright. Just in recent months we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on Numismatic purchases.
