The 1800 is now sold . One of the 1796's has also been placed in the same early gold collection as the 1800.

This is really a choice 53+ 1796 Eagle graded AU-53 by NGC. The other has just been sold and I'm happy to present this very pretty 1796 Eagle that looks 55 in hand under the glass. ( did I say that? It's getting late )

Lovely original color and devoid of the planchet defects that are common. This is one of my favorite Early Gold Eagle's and I've owned all the dates including a choice mint state 1795 9 Leaf Eagle, the 1797 Small Eagle, the 1798/7 7 X 6 Stars and dozens of all the dates. But the 1796 is among my favorite early gold coins. If you've been thinking about owning a choice early American gold coin not just as an investment, but to own a truly rare and important coin such as this one for any reason, here's a true early American treasure in gold coin form that doesn't come around as nice that often.

Both the 1863 $ gold is now sold, as is the 1895 Quarter Eagle in Prf 66 UCAM.

I may have yet another high relief tomorrow. A raw choice uncirculated coin that will be sent to slabland. If you want first shot on this coin, contact me and I'll try to accomodate.

Also have another grouping of proof 70 GAE coming in. This stuff is up and down. This material will be wholesaled out within 24 hours as is usually the case for this type of material.

I have a small quantity of Civil War Bonds for sale. You can also click on the link to the full description which will take you to my website. There are people cutting the individual bonds off these and selling them on ebay. That's such a shame IMO.

All the bonds are intact on the ones that I have available.
