What's the difference between Becket grading and BCCG?

They are both offered by Beckett. What's the difference?

    bccg is really pathetic,thier junk was in the tristar 10$ packs,and most of it was 10s,and was nowhere near the quality

    BCCG is a cursory glance at a card. It is not looked at as long or such a critical eye. I think they give a card a once over and give you an approximate grade. A regular Beckett graded card is supposed to be looked at from all angles.
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

    Not much.
  • BGS = Your regular crappy grading service.

    BCCG = Same thing as PRO grading.

    PSA = Top Quality Grading Service In The World!

    PRO = BCCG

    SCG = Better than BGS, but not better than PSA

    GAI = I have no clue(We shut our phones off when we move, LOL)

    Everything else = Waste of time, money, and worth nothing at all, even worst than PRO grading.

  • I'm looking at a Jordan rookie graded 8 by BCCG. I'm not too concerned about the grade but am more concerned as to whether or not the card is authentic with there being so many counterfeits of this card. Are they at least good enough to spot a counterfeit?

    BCCG is Beckett(BGS). If its graded by them, then it should be authentic.

    I would buy that card, and send it in to be re-slabbed by PSA.
