let me guess, this came from a coin show right?

great place to pay full retail for ordinary material, let alone fully
    damaged.

but for 5 dollars i guess it does not feel like a bad purchase.

Makes me wonder if any of those hobo nickel carvers have ever creatively worked a hole in a holed coin into one of their creations.

  • If I saw that at a coin show I would have bought it. I am working on a holey coin type set I wear on my head and I need my favorite seated design, a no stars half dime. For $5 I wouldn't argue too much for a discount. After all I could skip the hot dog for lunch and buy the holey half dime with the same $5 and probably be healthier to boot. image

  • At $5, I might buy a roll of those. The seated, no stars, dimes and HD's are among my favorite all-time coins!

it was more of a goof than anything, and I like a nice holed coin image
