Couldn't pass up this Liberty Eagle.....

Saw this at the coin shop today...... I don't know, there's just something about it that struck my eye! It sure stood out from the others I looked at...... I guess it's got just the right amount of patina or something, not bright and shiny like the others........ I thought it was "purty", so I picked it up!!

Oh yeah, while I was there, I did see something that was Bright and Shiny....... had to have this one, also.......

    i would have passed on that 10. the rev has a scratch and rim
    ding. i like it slightly above melt though.

    i also dislike bullion that rehashes st gauden double eagle designs.
    just reminds me the mint/govt does not have an original bone in their
    body. the rev makes me think, oh look, the eagle (nanny govt) is bringing the welfare check to the homes of too many americans.

    thanks for sharing. i do like gold though ;-) just at the right price.
