Another gold coin I would enjoy hearing your opinions of: four pics of the same coin.

  • 64 from the pics but I'd have to see that one in hand. I can't see the depth of luster. Might be AU
  • After a second look I'd say MS63 not 64. Too many hits on the chin for 64. I don't see any wear, so I'll rule out AU as well

There's not a lot of luster, but the coin has a nice 'frost' to it.

  • Again, a nice original skin 58. Notice the slight wear on the top of the left wing, and again on the tip of the beak and in the corner of the eagle's mouth. On the obverse, the hair curls along the forhead seem to have some rub, although at 1st look it could pass as a soft strike. But the reverse wear points sealed the grade IMO as a 58.

I'd go with 58 also, there's rub on the hair also (at least by what the images -2nd set of pics- show)

Marks on chin and dull luster limit it to a MS62 or a 63 on a good day.

  • Definitely an Unc piece, looks like a 63/64 liner.

Gold often comes with a little bit of abrasion on the high points, but there is definitely no wear.

Hard to tell from those pics. My initial reaction is 63, with no sticker.
