It looks like it came from the same die as my fake 1796 (by the odd shape of the 6) these fakes are very convincing unless you have it in hand, the edges are blank.

The 1749 "Morgan" dollar he is selling is a well-known fake 1749 Moscow rouble;
this is known to have been made in China.
He also says on some items that they came from a Vermont bank hoard; makes
"sense" to me that the bank would send them to China for authentication.
