Perhaps its jealousy on my part since there is absolutely no way I could possibly sell a 32 piece IKE dollar Set in a Dansco and get this kind of money for it! Especially if I used the same pictures from one auction to the next.
The bidding looks suspicious to me because I've seen what folks bid for IKE sets.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
I just don't make any sense. Why would someone spend $10,000 for a coin that is not certified as at least genuine. How hard is it for a seller to send in $50 to PCGS for a grade. I think it is gonna be a big slap in the face. I could see not wanting Paypal on a coim like that but at least offer a refund.
I bought a beautifully colored half cent from him for less than $100. It showed up with hairlines. I wrote him that I would like to return it and the money was back in my paypal account that afternoon with an apology. --Jerry

Looks like I'm gonna have to help my grandfather assemble some IKE sets so he can give em to me and I can sell em!

I wonder if he would consider selling some of my coins for me... He certainly gets more than I do....
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector. Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

Well, he may not want to eat the fees but he doesn't mind using it when someone else has to pay them. That's my guess.
