I noticed an original XF 1896 Barber dime posted by a gent in Florida.
Had a small pic of the obverse only. I emailed for a scan of the reverse
and didn't get a response. I paid $50 and when I flipped it over to take
a look it was a 1896-O dime, original XF. It is curious because the 1896-O
was the only hole in my XF+ toner set of Barber dimes. 'Sheet is $340
but that date/condition combo cannot be found and I have a standing
offer to pay $500 for a like example. This is one coin I will never sell.

PS -- I was playing poker online the same day and hit TWO straight flushes
in the space of 20 minutes.

Sorry about the ugly url. Thanks for the kudos. As a side note, I probably spend
more time, honestly, chasing Barber dimes on the web than anyone. This issue is
harder to locate nice, across the board grade-wise, than any other in the series.
I miss Mark too.
